this is still so unreal to me.
never thought i would be researching longhorns, mini donkeys, building stock tanks, cabins, utv's, etc.
but we have an accepted offer on a 95 acre property about 2 hour northwest of us.
i am trying to stay positive. david says i've done a great job so far. now that it's real it's getting harder. i can see him and the kids there and the fun they will have, i just don't see me. but i think that's the selfish mindset. i can't see me because it's not what i would choose. but if i remove my own desires then i can see fun in just being with them and enjoying the time together doing whatever you do on a ranch.
so i'm going to try to lean on Jesus to help me continue to look through His looking glass and not my own.
it's gonna be fun... right?

Wow!!! What an exciting new adventure!!! It will be fun!!! Is Dave still keeping the same job or is this gonna be 180 change in directions ranching all the way?
This is mostly going to be a weekend getaway but not every weekend kind of thing.
When are you moving?
That sounds exciting! You will totally be able to have fun especially if it is only weekends. If you haven't already heard of her, you should check out the Pioneer Woman for a ranch blogger. http://thepioneerwoman.com/
