progress

the house has been in chaos since David started painting the girls' rooms. their furniture was in the reading room and they were in the guest room. then came Christmas so all the Christmas decorations were out.

well this weekend we made some major progress.

sophia was back in her room a couple weeks ago. tonight isabelle is finally back in her room. still some decorating to do but no more hard work. yesterday we took down all the ornaments and put away the Christmas stuff. the tree is still in the living room. this is our first year with a fake tree. usually all this would be done day after Christmas. fake tree, not a problem. is there something wrong with having a fake tree out all year long? i thought maybe we can just put it in the guestroom. if we have guests we can put it in the garage. it's a lot easier than putting all the little branches down, rebuilding the box, cleaning out a closet to make room for it. we'll see. it definitely needs to get out of the living room soon though.

but the house... lots of cleaning and organizing. pretty much need to spring clean.
